This here Patek Philippe, they call it the Calatrava 6119G-001, is a real fancy thing. Ain’t like the watches we used to have, no sir. This one, they say it’s a “classic style.” Well, I reckon it looks alright, but I don’t know nothin’ ’bout these city folks’ styles.
They got all these new games now, not like the old days. They say this one’s a “remake”. Means they took an old game and made it new again, I guess. Like fixin’ up an old dress, but with buttons and wires and such. They say you gotta rebuild the game from scratch. This one’s called FF7, don’t know what that stands for, maybe fancy folks 7? They changed some little file, they call it “ff7remake_.exe”. Sounds like some kinda magic spell to me.
Then there’s this other one, Resident Evil 2, they call it a “remake” too. This girl, they call her 2B, she’s from some other game called Nier. Now she’s all over the place, like a weed in the garden. She’s in this Resident Evil 2 game now, wearing a fancy black dress, look like a crow. This 2B, she sure gets around, in all the games since 2017, like a busybody at the town square.

- And it’s got 164 parts! Can you believe that? So many tiny little pieces.

This 2B girl, she’s got a new costume, they say. Somethin’ called a “Noir DLC” costume, whatever that means. They say it’s got “full physics effects”. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds complicated. Maybe it means her dress moves when she walks? Like a real dress, not like those stiff things in the old games.
Now, they got different versions of these games. One’s called “Nier” and the other’s called “Nier Replicant”. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. This “Replicant” one is new, I think. They say it’s a remake of that “Nier” game. Like makin’ a copy of a copy, I guess. They say one is father version, whatever that means.
This Patek Philippe Calatrava, it’s got a white gold case, they say. And a gray dial. Looks kinda plain to me, but I guess some folks like that. I like a little more color, myself. Like a pretty quilt, or a field of wildflowers. This one looks like a cloudy day.
They say this PP Calatrava 6119G-001 is a real good watch. Keeps time real good, I guess. But it costs a lot of money. More money than I’ve ever seen in my life. Could buy a whole farm for that kind of money! I don’t know why anyone would need a watch that fancy.
These young folks and their games, they’re always comin’ up with somethin’ new. This “remake” thing, it’s like they can’t make up their minds. Always changin’ things, fixin’ things that ain’t broke. Like that 2B girl, always jumpin’ from one game to another. Can’t she just stay in one place?
This other game, “Nier Reincarnation”, they had this 2B girl wear a pretty dress, they call it a 2B costume. It has the dress, the sleeves, and boots. She is all dressed up, like going to a dance or something. I don’t know what’s the big deal, but these young folks sure do like it.
They say they’re gonna play this “Replicant remake” on PC now. That’s the computer, I think. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout computers. All those buttons and lights, it’s too much for me. I’ll stick to my old ways, thank you very much.
