Well, let me tell you, these days everybody’s talkin’ ’bout them high imitation Rolex watches. Especially that two-tone black Submariner, I hear it’s all the rage. You know, that one with the black and the gold lookin’ all fancy. I seen some pictures, and they do look mighty fine, I gotta admit.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these fancy watches, but I hear these high imitation Rolex ones are gettin’ harder and harder to tell from the real deal. They say some of ’em even got them Swiss movements, whatever that means. Sounds expensive, though. I don’t know where the specialty stores are selling the fake ones, I just know the real ones cost more than my whole house!
My neighbor, she got one of them high imitation Rolex watches. A two-tone black Submariner, just like I said. She showed it off at the church potluck last week. She said it was a gift from her son, the one who went off to the city. Now, I ain’t one to gossip, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that boy got her a fake one. I don’t know she is so happy, as usually, no warranty for those fake ones, she should be careful.
I asked my grandson, he’s real good with them internets, to look up these high imitation Rolex watches. He showed me all sorts of pictures. They got all kinds, not just the two-tone black Submariner. They got one called a GMT Master, another called a Daytona. They all look the same to me, just shiny and expensive lookin’.

He said some folks buy ’em ’cause they can’t afford the real deal, but they want to look like they can. They are afraid of losing the real ones. I don’t know the price of a two-tone black Submariner, but it must be really expensive.
But, you know, a watch is a watch, I always say. My old Timex, it tells the time just fine. Don’t need no fancy high imitation Rolex to tell me when it’s time for supper. Sounds crazy to me.
My grandson, he also said you gotta be careful buyin’ these watches. He said there’s lots of folks out there tryin’ to sell you a fake one, even if it ain’t a high imitation Rolex. He said you gotta look real close at ’em, check the numbers and all that. I wouldn’t know what to look for. The real ones have model numbers and serial numbers, they say it’s important. But I think it’s too troublesome.
They say these high imitation Rolex watches, they’re made good, but not as good as the real ones. The real ones are like a piece of art or somethin’, they say. I guess if you got that kinda money, maybe it’s worth it. But for me, I’ll stick with my old Timex. It’s never let me down. People also buy the used ones, that’s also a good choice, as they are cheaper. A used two-tone black Submariner is also a good deal.
I seen them specialty stores in the city, the ones with the bright lights and the fancy windows. They got all them shiny watches in there, probably some high imitation Rolex ones too, I bet. But I wouldn’t know how to tell the difference. My grandson said some are all original, I don’t know what that means, they look the same to me.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about them high imitation Rolex watches. I don’t know where the specialty stores are selling the two-tone black Submariner, just remember that the fake ones are everywhere. They’re somethin’ else, ain’t they? Just remember, a watch is a watch. Don’t go spendin’ all your money on somethin’ just ’cause it’s shiny. You can buy them used ones, they are okay. That’s what I always say.
And those specialty stores, they are everywhere. I think they sell the real ones, but I am not sure. I prefer the used ones, and they sell the used ones, too. Maybe some of them sell the high imitation Rolex, I don’t know. You need to find one you trust, and then you ask them if they have the two-tone black Submariner.
