Well, lemme tell you, that Yves Saint Laurent YSL COLLEGE BAG, that’s one fancy thing, ain’t it? I seen these young gals carryin’ ’em around, lookin’ all spiffy. I hear it’s a real popular thing now, that YSL College Bag. Been around for a while, five years, someone told me. They call it “College”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d take to school, but it sure don’t look like no school bag I ever seen!
They got that big ol’ YSL on the front. You can’t miss it. It’s shiny and, well, it just screams “look at me!” That’s what them fancy folks like, I reckon. And it’s big, bigger than the “Kate”, whatever that is. Big enough to fit all sorts of things, I suppose. More than just your lipstick and a hanky, that’s for sure. Buying one of them, well you will spend a lot of money. Not like the money tree I have in my backyard!
I saw one, it was a “mint condition” one. Looked brand new. You can get them used, save some money, up to 70% off, that is a good deal, I guess. But even used, they still cost a pretty penny, I imagine. They say it’s a good deal though. I guess if you got the money, it don’t matter. But me? I’d rather spend my money on somethin’ else, somethin’ more useful.

They say it’s a “versatile piece”. That means you can use it lots of ways, I guess. Dress it up, dress it down. Wear it to a fancy party, or just to the grocery store. I don’t know about that. Seems a bit much for the grocery store, if you ask me. But what do I know? I ain’t no fashion expert, just a regular person. That YSL Bag is so hot.
Them young folks, they love to be “trendy”. They want the latest thing, whatever’s popular. And this Saint Laurent College bag, that’s the thing right now. They say it “elevates your fashion game”. Makes you look all stylish and fancy. I guess if you’re into that sort of thing, it’s worth it. It will last for many years. And the YSL logo is still the same, will never change, I think.
They got a whole store, just for Saint Laurent. Online, they call it. You can buy all sorts of things there. Bags, clothes, shoes, you name it. All fancy, all expensive. They got new stuff every season, they say. So you always got somethin’ new to buy. Keeps you comin’ back for more, I guess. They say YSL and Saint Laurent is the same thing, which is kind of confusing. I think I will call it YSL, it is easier.
That Yves Saint Laurent, he was a real big shot, I hear. Started that whole thing. Then some other fella, Hedi somethin’, he changed the name. To Saint Laurent. But the YSL, that’s still there. So I guess it don’t matter what you call it, it’s still the same thing. Still that fancy bag that everyone wants. Just like the YSL College Bag, everyone wants one.
Well, I guess that’s all I know about that YSL College Bag. It’s a fancy thing, that’s for sure. If you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, then go for it. But me? I’ll stick to my old purse. It might not be fancy, but it does the job. And that’s all that matters to me. I ain’t tryin’ to impress nobody. I’m just tryin’ to get by, same as always.
But if you want to remake one, well, good luck with that, need some special skills for sure. Better have money to buy a real YSL College Bag. I don’t know anyone can do that, remake such a fancy thing. But hey, maybe some people are that good at sewing, who knows!
