Well, let me tell you, I heard about this here watch, this fancy thing they call the OMEGA X-33 Marstimer. Sounds like somethin’ from one of them space movies, don’t it? Some folks, they get all excited about these OMEGA watches. They say it’s the best. They’re real popular, you know, like that Rolex everyone talks about.
This Marstimer Thing, It’s Somethin’ Else
This here Marstimer, it’s supposed to be somethin’ special. They say it can tell time on Mars. Can you believe that? Mars! We got enough trouble tellin’ time here on Earth, I reckon. But I guess if you’re headin’ to Mars, you might need a watch like that. This OMEGA, they got that Moon one. Now this for Mars. What they gonna think of next?
Someone was tellin’ me it’s made for them space fellas, the ones that go up in them rockets. European Space Agency, they call it. Sounds important, don’t it? They say this watch, it’s certified by them, so it must be good, right? This Marstimer is good for space, that’s what they say. So it is a good watch.
Big Ol’ Watch, This One
Now, I ain’t never seen one of these Marstimer watches up close, but I hear it’s big. Like, 45mm big. That’s bigger than my pie plate! Might be a bit much for some folks, I reckon. My old eyes would probably struggle just tryin’ to see the numbers on that thing. They say the X-33 Marstimer bigger than other X-33. I don’t know what that is, but this one big.

They say the design is like some other fancy watch, the Speedmaster Moonwatch. Don’t know much about that one either, but they say it’s got some kind of special bezel. And the buttons on the side, they’re supposed to be special too. You know, them chronograph pushers. Whatever that is. To me, a button is a button. But it looks like that Moon one, so that’s good.
Pricey, I Bet
I bet this here Marstimer watch ain’t cheap. Probably costs more than my whole house! But I guess if you’re goin’ to Mars, you need a good watch, right? And these OMEGA folks, they make good stuff, from what I hear. Still, it is a lot of money. It’s for them space fans. I guess they got the money for it. They need a special watch that tell them Mars time.
Someone told me about this other watch, the X-33 Skywalker. Sounds like somethin’ out of Star Wars, don’t it? I guess this Marstimer is like that one, but newer. It’s all so confusin’. But I reckon if you’re into that space stuff, this is the watch for you.
They say it can do all sorts of things, this Marstimer watch. Keep track of time on Earth and Mars, and probably make you coffee too, for all I know. It is fancy, that’s for sure. But if you want to know what time is it on Mars, this watch can tell you.
Good Enough for a Shower, Maybe?
Now, they say this watch is water-resistant. Up to 3 bars, whatever that means. I guess you could wear it in the shower, or maybe if you get caught in the rain. But I wouldn’t go swimmin’ with it, not for that price! Just don’t break the crown and buttons, then you can get it wet. If you want a watch to swim, maybe this not the one.
Well, that’s all I know about this OMEGA X-33 Marstimer watch. It’s a fancy thing, that’s for sure. If you’re into space and got a lot of money burnin’ a hole in your pocket, maybe this is the watch for you. But you ask me? I’ll just keep my old watch. As long as you have a watch, who cares if it is a OMEGA Marstimer.
