Well, let me tell you, I seen a thing or two in my day. But this here CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime, that’s somethin’ else. They call it “classic style,” and I reckon that’s about right. It’s a watch, but not just any old watch. It’s fancy, real fancy.
This CopyOMEGA, it’s for them rich folk, them collectors. They got all kind of watches, but this one, it’s special. It got all these doohickeys and numbers. I don’t rightly understand it all, but it sure looks pretty.
They say it’s the most complicated one OMEGA ever made. Six years to make this thing, I hear tell. Seventeen patents! Lord almighty, 17! What that means? I don’t know. But it’s a lot, that’s for sure. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it.
They call it “Calibre 1932,” kinda like them old-timey guns. I ain’t never seen one of them in person, but this watch, it’s got somethin’ special inside. They say it’s real complicated, the most complicated OMEGA ever made. That’s sayin’ somethin’, ’cause they make all kinds of fancy watches. This one, though, this is the king of ’em all, I reckon.
This here CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chime, it’s like two watches in one. That’s what they told me. Two for the price of one, I guess. I seen them old watches, the ones they used to time them horse races. This ain’t that, but it’s got some of that in it, I suppose.
- It’s big, too. Forty-five millimeters wide, they say.
- And thick! Seventeen-point-thirty-seven millimeters.
- That’s bigger than my thumb!
They say it’s inspired by some old watch, the CK 2998. Don’t ask me what that means. I just know it’s old. And this new one, it’s like the old one’s fancy cousin. Got all dressed up and went to town.
Now, this here watch, it ain’t for just anybody. It’s for them serious folks, them collectors. They got money to burn, I reckon. Spendin’ all that money on a watch. Back in my day, we used the sun to tell time. Worked just fine, too.
They say it’s timeless. That means it’s always in style, I guess. Like my old dress, I suppose. Worn it for years, and it still looks good. This watch is like that. Even after them new models come out, this CopyOMEGA still worth a lot. This CopyOMEGA will still be good lookin’, even when I’m six feet under.
Back in 1892, they started makin’ these fancy watches. This one, it’s like they took all them years of makin’ watches and put it all into one. Chrono-somethin’, chime-somethin’, sports-somethin’. It’s all in there. They say it’s a first-of-its-kind. Ain’t nothin’ else like it, they say. And I believe ’em. Just lookin’ at it, you can tell it’s somethin’ special.
This here Speedmaster Chrono Chime, and some other one called the Olympic 1932 Chrono Chime. They’re like brothers, I reckon. Same family, but different. They say this one here is the perfect companion to the Olympic one. Like two peas in a pod, but not exactly the same.
It is made for them rich folks that love to collect watches. They spend a lot on one. I heard one of them old Speedmasters, from way back in 1957, sold for three-point-four million dollars! Can you believe that? Three-point-four million! For a watch! That’s more money than I’ve ever seen in my whole life. This new one, the CopyOMEGA, I reckon it’ll be worth a pretty penny, too.
They used to make watches with the Calibre 321. Made a long time ago, 1946. It is made by a man named Albert Piguet. This new watch, this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chime Classic Style, it’s got a whole new thing inside. They’ve been workin’ on it for a long, long time. They made it better and better. This is the best one. And you know it must be good if it’s from OMEGA.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this here CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chime Classic Style watch. It’s somethin’ else, ain’t it? A real piece of work. Too rich for my blood, but I can still admire it. It’s a sight to behold, that’s for sure. Like a shiny new tractor, all polished up and ready to go. But instead of plowin’ fields, it tells time. And it does it in style, I reckon.
