Well, lemme tell you about this here Patek Philippe Calatrava 5226G-001. They call it “original order” or somethin’. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I seen pictures, and that’s one shiny watch, I gotta say. This one, it’s for them rich folks, you know? Not for us regular people. But if you got the money, I guess it’s alright.
This here watch, it’s made of white gold. That’s what they say. It shines like the moon on a clear night. Real pretty. It’s about 40 mm across. Not too big, not too small, I reckon. The new Calatrava Ref. 5226G is like that, just right size, you know? And it ain’t too thick neither, just 8.53 mm. Like a stack of them thin pancakes my grandkids like.
They say this Patek Philippe thing, it’s got somethin’ called a “seal.” Like them seals you see in the picture books, swimmin’ in the cold water. But this here seal, it means the watch keeps time real good. Only off by a second or two each day. That’s what I heard, anyway. But if you like that kinda thing, and you got the money to burn, then go ahead. Me, I’d rather spend my money on somethin’ else. Like a new plow for the field. Or maybe a new dress for church. Somethin’ useful, you know? This remake Patek Philippe, it is too much for me. It is for some big shot, I guess.
But I gotta say, this Patek Philippe 5226G-001, it is a pretty watch. And I guess if you’re into that kinda thing, it’s a good watch to have. They say it’s a “status symbol.” Like wearin’ a crown or somethin’. Makes you feel important, I guess. But me, I don’t need no fancy watch to feel important. I got my family, and I got my farm. That’s all the status I need.

Some of them even said you can find the price of about 60 of them Patek Philippe Ref 5226G watches, or 57 of them Patek Philippe Ref 5226G-001 watches, on some place called Chrono24. I don’t know what that is, but if you wanna know, I think that’s where you look. But like I said, it’s a lot of money. Too much money for me. But then again, I ain’t no fancy rich person. I’m just a regular person, and I like regular things. And that’s okay.

If you’re one of them fancy people, then maybe you should get one. But if you’re like me, then maybe you should just stick with your old watch. It might not be as shiny, but it tells the time just as good. And that’s all that really matters, ain’t it?

Struttin’ around, makin’ sure everyone sees ’em. That ain’t my style. I like to keep things simple. But I guess some folks, they like to be flashy. And this here Patek Philippe watch, it’s definitely flashy.
